It is an integral waterproofing admixture for concrete / mortar which chemically converts the water-soluble compounds present in concrete / mortar into stable water insoluble compounds. It has good politicizing properties, makes concrete cohesive and prevents segregation. It is used for all types of concrete / mortar requiring water impermeability.

Properties:
Rans®Conmix-IWC is a ready to use aqueous solution of highly purified Lignosulphonateand a catalyst which promotes a more rapid and complete hydration of cement. Thisaction helps in making the Concrete/ mortar more dense thereby reducing porosity andgenerating waterproofing properties.
  • Makes concrete impermeable, thereby resisting frost and preventing efflorescence.
  • Improves plasticity of concrete and mortar, hence easy processing and preventing segregation.

Areas Of Use: 
It is used in ready mix plants, blocks, concrete and all sorts of mortar where less porosityis of utmost importance. It produces a plastic concrete that is more workable, easier toplace and more finish able.

Direction for Use:
Rans®Conmix-IWC should be added to the concrete mix/ cement mortar during the mixing cyde at the same time as the water and the aggregates. Never add Rans®Conmix-IWC to the dry cement. 
  • Mix 150 ml. to 300 ml. Per 50 kgs. Bag of cement. 
  • Optimum dosage is 200 ml per bag of cement. 
  • Mix RANSCONMDC-IWC directly into the gauging water. 
  • Where mixing with gauging water is not possible it should be poured on aggregate in the feeder. 
  • Do not add Rans®Conmix-IWC Directly to the Cement. 
Effects of Over Dosage:
A severe over-dosage of Rans®Conmix-IWC will result in the following:
  • Retardation of initial set
  • Increase in air entrainment. 
  • Increase in workability 

Dosage:
Dosage of Rans®Conmix-IWC can vary from 0.300 Ltr -0.600 Ltr per 100 kg Cement. However optimum dosage of Rans®Conmix-IWC is 200m1 per 50 kg bag of cement

RANSCONMIX-SP110 is a high performance set reducing, superplasticising admixture for use in concrete and Portland cement.


RANSCONMIX-SP110 admixture helps in reducing setting times in general and especially in lower atmospheric temperature, produce early high and ultimate increased strengths. It reduces bleed and segregation and improves workability too.

RANSCONMIX-SP110 does not contain any added chloride ion sensuring that the product does not support corrosion of reinforcing steel. Being anti-corrosive in nature, helps concrete and steel to prevent corrosion


Properties:
RANSCONMIX--SP110is a ready to use aqueous solution of modified lignin sulphonic acid and organic salts. It is designed to produce the highest compressive, flexural and tensile strength of concrete by means of water reduction and through control of the cement hydration.

Areas Of Use:

It makes a workable mix with upto 15% less water and gives a stronger, less permeable,durable concrete. It is used in ready mix plants, block and concrete product plants, lightweight and pre-stressed works and pavers.

To accelerate the setting and early strength gain of Portland cement concrete and mortar mixes without theintroduction of chloride. Acts as a plasticizer, so givessignificant increases in both ultimate and earlystrengths. Typical applications include pre-castconcrete, concrete placed in cold weather, concrete forrepairs, mortars for brickwork.


RANSCONMIX-SP110 is designed for use as accelerator toprovide high early and higher compressive strengths inconcrete; it accelerate the setting times.

Direction for Use:

RANSCONMIX-SP110 should be added to the concrete mix/ cement mortar during the mixing cycle at the same time as the water and the aggregates. Never add RANSCONMIX-SP110 to the dry cement.
RANSCONMIX-SP110 is compatible with most admixtures used in the production of qualityconcrete including normal, other mid-range water-reducing admixtures, accelerators, retarders. The effect of RANSCONMIX-SP110 is dependent upon thecement properties and the type of plasticizers used inthe concrete mix. The setting time and early strengthgain may be affected if strong retarders are used in themix. RANSCONMIX-SP110 admixture will neither initiate norpromote corrosion of reinforcing steel, pre-stressedconcrete or concrete placed on galvanized steel floorand roof systems.

Rate of hardening
The temperature of the concrete mix and the ambienttemperature (forms, earth, reinforcement, air, etc.) affectthe hardening rate of concrete. Within the normaldosage range, it will generally reduce the setting timesof concrete containing normal Portland cementapproximately by 1 hour to 3 hours compared to a plainconcrete mix, depending on materials at site andtemperatures.

RANSCONMIX-SP410 is a High Range Water Reducing Admixture for High performance, High strength and durable concrete. It is based on a Polycarboxylate Ether (PCE) Polymer. The main polymer backbone has carboxyl groups for the adsorption on the surface of cement particles and alkoxy polyether lateral chains that keep the particles physically away from each other. This phenomenon of separating discrete solid agglomerating particles is known as Steric Hindrance. This result in superior fluidity of the mixture combined with better retention of workability (slump) as compared to the conventional super plasticizers based on Naphthalene or Melamine formaldehyde polycondensates. RANSCONMIX-SP410 comprises of particles less than 1/50 the size of cement grains, and is synthesized through ionic.Polymerization in nano-scale.

RANSCONMIX-SP410 is a High Range Superplasticizer (water reduction up to 40% in control concrete) with superior cement dispersion ability to provide extremely high slump values, even to concrete mixtures with water-to-cement ratio of less than 0.30.

RANSCONMIX-SP410 can provide slump retention of more than 120 minutes after mixing at higher than ambient temperatures (35??C or more).

Properties:
  • RANSCONMIX-SP410 is highly dosage efficient – a much smaller dosage as compared to conventional superplasticizer is only sufficient.
  • RANSCONMIX-SP410 imparts high flow ability to the mixture so as to fill the formwork under its own weight (self-compacting ability) without any voids or segregation of aggregates. This self-compacting concrete (SCC) maintains fluidity for longer periods unlike conventional Superplasticizer that suffer rapid slump loss.
  • RANSCONMIX-SP410 can be used as a pumpability enhancer combined with plasticizing effect which allows high range water reduction leading to phenomenal increase in compressive strength, impermeability and durability.
  • RANSCONMIX-SP410 has no effect on the setting time of concretes and develops high early strength that allows rapid progress in large scale civil engineering applications.
  • RANSCONMIX-SP410 is ideal for pre-cast and prestressed concrete products. The very high fluidity of the concrete mixtures facilitated by RANSCONMIX-SP410 results in smooth surfaces on removal of formwork.

Dosage : (0.4% to 1.2% [v/w])

As with most commodity concrete additives, the efficiency obtained by the use of RANSCONMIX-SP410 is dependent on dosage, water to-cement ratio, the nature of constituent materials such as cement, fly ash and ground granulated blast furnace slag. The type of cement, its fineness and the C A (tricalcium aluminate) content are important parameters that influence the performance of the chemical admixture.

It is therefore necessary to assess the performance of concrete in its conditions of placing to arrive at optimum dosage of RANSCONMIX-SP410 to ensure desirable plastic and hardened concrete properties.

Compatibility With Cement:
RANSCONMIX-SP410 can be used with all types of OPC, composite cement (PSC and PPC), Silica Fume, Metakaolin, and Rice Husk Ash (RHA), Pulverized Fuel Ash (PFA) and Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS).

Effects of Over Dosage:
An over dose of double the recommended amount of RANSCONMIX-SP410 will result in very high workability and some retardation of setting time will occur. However, the ultimate compressive strength will not be impaired.

RANSCONMIX-SP310 is based on Sulphonated Naphthalene Polymers and supplied as a brown liquid instantly dispersible in water. RANSCONMIX-SP310 has been specially formulated to give high water reductions upto 25% without loss of workability or to produce high quality concrete of reduced permeability. RANSCONMIX SP310 complies with IS 9103 1999 and BS 5075 Part 3.

Compatibility:
It can be used with all types of cement except highAlumina cement. Site trial should be carried out tooptimize dosages.

The optimum dosage is best determined by site trials with theconcrete mix which enables the effects of workability, strength gain or cement reduction to be measured. Site trials with RANSCONMIX-SP310 should always be compared with mix containing no admixture. As a guide, the rate ofaddition is generally in the range of 0.5 -2.0 liters /100 kg cement.

The measured quantity of RANSCONMIX-SP310should be added along with the gauging water. Forbest results, add RANSCONMIX-SP310superplasticizer in the last phase after rewetting the mixwith 80% of the total water required.

Dosage:
The rate of addition of RANSCONMIX-S310is typical between160 ml to 400 ml per 100 kg cement.At dosage beyond 400 ml per 100kg of cement, it mayact as a retarding plasticizer
